Granite does require a little more maintenance than quartz, but it’s not a ridiculous amount and it’s not difficult. We have a special 3 in 1 cleaner that we give our granite customers and we recommend that they use that once a week. This magic can cleans, polishes, and protects your countertops.
I have encountered a lot of misinformation online about having to seal granite every 3-6 months and that is just simply not true. Most people do not have to reseal their granite until after 7-10 years. Each granite is different and will have different needs to keep it sealed.
